For Pineda Covalin´s the day of the death campaign we used the designs of one of their best selling scarves, which illustrates the most iconic monuments in Mexico City.
The shop windows design for this project was inspired by the theatrical scenery. The idea was to create different comic style landscapes of the city, emphasizing each of the monuments creating different planes. All the city elements were sketched in black and white to create contrast with the bright orange of the cempasúchil flowers. The folkloric tradition is shown in every window accentuating some of the elements with flower saturation, as well as the ceiling composition with flowers at different heights, and a floor path design with lit candles to create the season atmosphere.
